This batch tastes a little orangy, which will be fixed in 2.17, it is from increased tagetes essential oil. Shipped 12 packs to amazon oct 1st and any orders on this website made on or after october 2nd is 2.16. Monolaurin coming in 2.17! I’m excited.
Thanks to a convo with a very astute customer (who really liked revision 2.5!) it has woken me up to some aspects of the current revision that may not be optimal. Usually when designing you want to find that sweet spot with every ingredient where it is just enough but not too much. Sometimes I will overshoot something to experiment and forget to tune it back. Complaints were that the new revision is less scrubbing than 2.5 (which is because OCP feels lighter, mastic gum, and higher proline, and different foaming agent) and tastes like spoiled orange. This may be from the combination of high citrus eo’s and also some vitamins, aminos, and selenium added which can have a sulfur flavor. Also complained that it is more watery during use. I think this is a combination of too high proline, different foaming agent, and higher oil percentage. Also in the future I will add hyaluronic acid (edit: can’t add it because it kills all the foam) which should further thicken. Customer also noted burning gums which may either be an essential oil or the mastic gum (I noted allergy to mastic gum when it was at 10g).
I am very grateful to this customer as they have gotten me to reconsider many things that may not be optimal in the current revision! Email teefpowder2.0 at gmail to give me your input as well.

45g Proline was 50g. Reverting because customer made me aware that formula was more watery seeming. In future will try hyaluronic acid which may help thickness.
0g Mastic Gum was 3g. Reverting because customer noticing gum burning sensation which may be allergy to mastic. Also I am testing to see if this ingredient is helpful at all because when this was at 10g I was allergic so may be an unecessary potential allergen. May end up settling on 1-1.5g since it does seem to polish teeth a bit. May try myrrh gum as well or instead.
15 orange eo was 17. Lowering because of complaints of too citrusy flavor and I don’t feel it needs to be this high.
13 drops mastic eo was 12. Raised because of removal of mastic gum.
19 drops lavender eo was 18, added to continue fighting metallic taste in mouth.
7 cedarwood was 6. Boosted to help campylobacter which causes slight teeth movement when pushing with tongue. Also helps combat metallic taste in mouth.
6 tagetes was 5. Boosted for same reason as cedarwood in terms of campylobacter and and also chronic sore throat.
Tried .05g hyaluronic acid in 20g teef powder and it killed any foam produced. Perhaps for use in toof paste but can’t see it working in any appreciable amount in teef powder.
Tagetes may be sour orange smell
